The collaboration between Airbus Corporate Helicopters (ACH) and Mercedes-Benz has reached a new pinnacle with the launch of the ACH145 Mercedes-Benz Edition. Unveiled in March 2026 at a premier showcase in São Paulo, Brazil—a city renowned for the world’s highest density of private helicopter traffic—this aircraft represents the evolution of a partnership that began in 2010. Following a 2021 renewal of their agreement, the two brands have shifted their focus toward embedding the "Sensual Purity" design philosophy into the sky, creating a seamless transition for owners moving from a high-end Mercedes-Benz vehicle to their private aircraft.

Technologically, the new edition is built upon Airbus’s latest five-bladed H145 platform, which offers significant performance gains over previous models. The addition of the fifth blade reduces in-flight vibrations and noise levels, p
roviding the quietest cabin in its class while increasing the useful payload by 150 kg. Pilots also benefit from the advanced Helionix avionics suite and a 4-axis automatic pilot, which together enhance safety and reduce workload, allowing the aircraft to function as a highly efficient business tool for global entrepreneurs.
The interior is where the Mercedes-Benz influence is most striking, as the cabin has been completely reimagined to mimic a luxury executive lounge. Drawing inspiration from the G-Class and Maybach lines, the space features a "wrap-around" architecture with sculpted leather seats, metallic accents, and genuine wood-based flooring. Passengers can choose from six signature design themes—including Atlas, Polaris, and Meteor—or opt for fully bespoke finishes, with the modular cabin accommodating anywhere from four to eight travelers.
With an estimated price tag ranging between $12 million and $15 million, the ACH145 Mercedes-Benz Edition is positioned as the ultimate "flying SUV." Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the helicopter boasts a maximum cruise speed of 137 knots and a flight endurance of nearly four hours, making it as capable of landing on remote mountain peaks as it is on urban helipads. This release solidifies the partnership's dominance in the super-luxury segment, providing a level of craftsmanship and technical reliability that remains unmatched in the corporate rotorcraft market.
