DOLPA, Nepal — A Sita Air aircraft encountered a technical problem while landing at Juphal Airport in Dolpa on Thursday morning.

The aircraft, a Dornier 228 operated by Sita Air, was landing after flying from Nepalgunj when its rear-right wheel reportedly came off during the landing.

According to officials, the aircraft, with 13 passengers and crew members on board, landed safely, and no injuries were reported.

Following the incident, the aircraft remained on the runway, affecting flight operations at Juphal Airport. Authorities and technical teams are assessing the aircraft to determine the cause of the incident and the necessary repairs.
