A wide-body aircraft of Kuwait Airways, Boeing Boeing 777-300 series, is scheduled to land today at Gautam Buddha International Airport, bringing back 316 Nepali nationals from Kuwait.
According to airport authorities, this large-capacity flight is part of ongoing efforts to facilitate the safe return of Nepali citizens from abroad. The arrival of a wide-body aircraft at Bhairahwa also highlights the growing operational capability of the international airport to handle long-haul flights and larger passenger volumes.
Families and well-wishers are expected to gather at the airport to استقبال (welcome) their loved ones as they return home. Officials have also arranged necessary immigration and health check procedures to ensure a smooth arrival process.
